Description

This IFB solicits bids from prequalified contractors for cut-and-pile tree thinning work in the Hurricane Cliffs project area in Iron County, Utah, approximately two miles southeast of Cedar City. The project covers approximately 180 acres and includes cutting and piling juniper and specified pinyon trees, with requirements for crew, equipment, slash treatment, and protection of trails and site conditions. Bids are submitted on a per-acre and total-price basis, including all labor, equipment, materials, mobilization, and operating costs; fuel surcharges or adjustments will not be negotiated. Award is anticipated to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible bidder, and the work must be completed by December 31, 2027.
