NSPA’s LW - AWACS purchasing organisation is seeking five radar receiver subassemblies for AN/APY-1 and AN/APY-2 radar systems. - Buyer: NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), purchasing organisation LW - AWACS. - OEMs and references: Northrop Grumman Corp. part number 581R815H09 (CAGE 97942); CPI VDS1715 part number 332816 is also acceptable and must be marked on the nameplate. - Requested item: Five radar receiver subassemblies, NATO stock number 5841015020839. - Key requirements: New, current-production material; AQAP 2131 quality compliance; and a Certificate of Conformity. The electrostatic-sensitive assembly measures about 16.640 inches long by 4.920 inches high and includes one protector, one switch, and two adapters. It has a tritium-charged quartz vial, requires no heater assembly, and has a stated eight-year shelf life, including while in use.
