Event-Based Janitorial and Labor Services for the Indiana State Fairgrounds

The Indiana State Fair Commission is seeking event-based janitorial and labor support for the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. - Government buyer: Indiana State Fair Commission, Event Services Department. - Services requested: Janitorial services, labor services, or both. The Commission may select one or more providers. - Janitorial crews may range from 2 to more than 50 people per shift, depending on the event. - Labor crews may range from 2 to more than 20 people and support event setup, facility work, and teardown. - Janitorial work: Cleaning and maintaining common areas, restrooms, seating areas, lobbies, box offices, dormitories, elevators, stairwells, and concession seating areas. Tasks include trash removal, floor care, sanitation, and spill or bio-hazard cleanup. - Labor work: Setting up tables, chairs, pens, and stalls; cleaning pens; assembling items with power tools; power washing; and providing certified forklift drivers. - Staffing and operational requirements: Providers must furnish qualified, trained and cross-trained personnel and an onsite supervisor. The Commission must approve personnel and onsite management. Providers must supply uniforms and follow Commission conduct and safety policies. - Supplies and equipment: The Commission furnishes applicable consumables and equipment; providers assist with inventory and routine equipment cleaning. - Experience: Responders must demonstrate experience serving a public assembly facility of comparable size and scope. - OEMs and named vendors: No OEMs or service-provider vendors are identified in the opportunity.

Description

The Indiana State Fair Commission seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide janitorial and labor services at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Vendors may bid on either or both services, and selected providers will supply qualified personnel and an onsite supervisor to staff events, including the Indiana State Fair, as requested.
