Kickingbird Golf Course Parking Lot Construction

The City of Edmond is seeking a contractor to build the Kickingbird Golf Course parking lot and complete related site and drainage work. - Government buyer: City of Edmond, Purchasing Department, in coordination with the City Engineer’s Office; project location is Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, Oklahoma. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, manufacturers, or vendors are named; no manufacturer part numbers are specified. - Main scope and quantities: 1,902 CY of unclassified borrow; 149 SY of 7-inch concrete pavement with 1½-inch crusher run; 1 LSUM of 8-inch millings work; 130 tons of 2-inch Superpave Type S4 asphalt, PG 70-28; 90 LF of curb and gutter replacement; 90 SY of sidewalk; 1,197 SY of sod; 50 LF of 12-inch corrugated galvanized steel pipe; and 2 round 12-inch culvert end sections. - Other bid-schedule items: 88 gallons of tack coat, 30 parking blocks, 504 LF of 6-inch multi-poly traffic stripe, 24 SF of tactile warning devices, 1 LSUM of Type-A salvaged topsoil, 22,951 SY of separator fabric, and 153 SY of 8-inch Type A aggregate base. Earlier bid schedules also list 987 SY of millings with a 2-inch asphalt surface; the revised schedule separates millings and asphalt into different items. - Services and site work: SWMPPP documentation and management (1 LSUM), temporary erosion control (1 LSUM), concrete flume removal (30 LF), clearing and grubbing (1 LSUM), and mobilization (1 LSUM). The millings are to be collected from a City-designated location; the contractor prices fuel, labor, and equipment. - Notable requirements: Complete work within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed or Work Order. The project also calls for traffic control, work scheduling, quality-control testing, preservation of drainage patterns, and a five-year maintenance bond. Asphalt must meet the specified PG 70-28 grade.

Description

The City of Edmond is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Kickingbird Golf Course Parking Lot at 1600 E. Danforth Rd., Edmond, Oklahoma. The project includes furnishing the required materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and plant, and performing the labor needed to complete the construction in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted through the online bidding system by October 26, 2026, and a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for 5% of the bid is required. No pre-bid meeting will be held; questions are due by October 19, 2026.
