The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is seeking comments on revised stablecoin issuer reporting requirements, not purchasing products or services. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). - Reporting forms: - Form PS-01: Weekly reporting on stablecoin issuance and redemption, secondary-market pricing and liquidity, reserve assets, counterparties, and concentration metrics. - Form PS-02: Quarterly reporting on financial condition, income and expenses, balance sheets, off-balance-sheet items, capital, operational backstops, and issuer operations. - Who reports: Permitted payment stablecoin issuers and foreign payment stablecoin issuers registered with the OCC. - Notable requirements: Weekly reports are confidential. Quarterly reports are generally expected to be public, though confidential treatment may be available. The revised forms reduce some reporting burdens while adding or clarifying data fields. - Procurement status: This is an information-collection notice; no products, quantities, vendors, or OEMs are requested.
Description
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency invites comments on a proposed new information collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The OCC is seeking a new OMB control number and has submitted the collection to OMB for review. Comments must be received by November 23, 2026.
