Description

The City of Corona Utilities Department is seeking proposals for a feasibility study evaluating the technical, economic, and operational viability of a microgrid at the Lester Water Treatment Plant and Chase Booster Station. The study will assess possible distributed energy resources, photovoltaic arrays, and battery energy storage to provide reliable on-site power, reduce utility dependence, and support sustainability objectives. It will identify site potential for microgrid integration and estimate project costs, operating costs, and energy usage. The project requires oversight by an engineer, preferably holding an E – Electrical Engineer license.
