Janitorial services for the Farmington Public Safety Building

Utah’s Purchasing from People with Disabilities Advisory Board is seeking a qualified Community Rehabilitation Program to clean the Farmington Public Safety Building. - Government buyer: Purchasing from People with Disabilities Advisory Board (PPDAB), State of Utah; the work is managed by the Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM). The City of Farmington is also named in the cost proposal attachment. - Service requested: Weekday overnight janitorial service for an approximately 8,500-square-foot building, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. - Clean entrances, lobby and office areas, breakrooms, restrooms, and the janitor’s closet; remove trash; vacuum carpets and mats; sweep and mop floors; clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, furniture, doors, glass, and dispensers; dust; complete periodic detail cleaning; and replenish dispensers. - Certain locked vaults, mechanical and equipment areas, designated supply and storage rooms, and telephone equipment rooms are included under DFCM supervision. - Eligibility and notable requirements: Bidders must be qualifying Utah-based Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs). CRP employees assigned to the contract must meet a 75% disability-employment ratio; the bidder must meet applicable occupational health and safety requirements, maintain its principal place of business in Utah, and ensure most CRP individuals providing the services reside in Utah. - Proposal details: Provide a proposed staffing plan and service schedule, labor hours and wage rates, and monthly cost estimates for supplies, equipment, employee-related expenses, management and overhead, and profit. PPDAB is seeking bids for janitorial cleaning services at the Farmington Public Safety Building, approximately 8,500 square feet, in Farmington, Utah. Services are scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and include cleaning entrances, lobby and office areas, breakrooms, restrooms, and the janitor’s closet. The contract term is three years, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with two one-year renewal options. Bidders must meet the stated Community Rehabilitation Program qualifications and attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit on October 27, 2026; submissions are due November 5, 2026.
