Engineering construction support and inspection for Westchester County Airport runway lights and surface sensors

Westchester County is seeking an engineering consultant to support construction and provide on-site inspection for runway lighting and surface-sensor improvements at Westchester County Airport. - Government buyer: Westchester County, Department of Public Works and Transportation, Airport Division / Westchester County Airport (HPN); contact named in the attachment: Christopher Prashad. - Services sought: One engineering consultant to provide construction support and construction inspection. Work includes permit and meeting coordination; review of schedules, submittals, RFIs, and payment requests; FAA inspection reporting; design-change and change-order support; assistance with quality testing and surveying; and preparation of as-built documents, final reports, and closeout materials. - Construction scope referenced: 16 runway guard light locations—13 elevated lights and 3 in-pavement semi-flush lights—plus 3 in-pavement runway surface-condition sensor systems. The project also includes a constant-current regulator, electrical conduit and related power and communications infrastructure, and integration of the lights into the airport’s pilot-controlled lighting system.
