Bradford County School District WAN connectivity for two elementary schools and the District Office

The School Board of Bradford County is seeking an integrated WAN solution connecting two elementary schools to its District Office. - Buyer: School Board of Bradford County, Florida; Greg Gobs, I.T. Director. The District Office is in Starke, Florida. - Services requested: WAN data transport for the District Office, Lawtey Elementary School, and Bradford Elementary School, including survey, design, procurement, configuration, installation, and initial setup. - Bandwidth: District Office requires 1 Gbps, with a 2 Gbps pricing option; Lawtey Elementary requires 200 Mbps, with 600 Mbps and 1 Gbps options; Bradford Elementary requires 600 Mbps, with a 1 Gbps option. The network must support upgrades up to 2 Gbps. - Transport and installation: Leased-lit fiber is preferred, but other qualifying transport methods may be proposed. Work may include fiber or tower installation, permits, zoning requests, inspections, and Ethernet service demarcation. Connections should route back to the District Office. - Operations and support: Provide integrated network functions, continuous proactive monitoring, web-based trouble tickets, a toll-free monitoring-center number, and maintenance dispatch. Field support must respond within four hours of notice of an infrastructure failure and support relevant WAN equipment and infrastructure. - Named OEMs / restrictions: Huawei and ZTE are expressly prohibited from supplying or supporting equipment or services. No eligible service provider or other OEM is identified in the materials. - Notable qualifications: The provider must offer an integrated solution for all locations, have prior school WAN experience and references, and meet E-Rate/USAC requirements. - Term: Services are to be operational by the required service start; the initial term is 12 months with four optional 12-month extensions.

The School Board of Bradford County is seeking proposals for wide area network (WAN) connectivity linking Lawtey Elementary and Bradford Elementary to the District Office. The vendor must provide and configure WAN data transport, with minimum bandwidths of 200 Mbps at Lawtey Elementary, 600 Mbps at Bradford Elementary, and 1 Gbps at the District Office, and support upgrades up to 2 Gbps. Scope includes network design, installation, permits, monitoring, ticketing, and maintenance support. Services must be operational by July 1, 2027; proposals are due November 19, 2026.
