The 115th Fighter Wing is researching recurring cleaning and lead-control services for its Building 1266 indoor firing range at Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin. - Government buyer: 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, Department of the Air Force. The initial notice also identifies W7N8 USPFO Activity WIANG 115, USPFO Wisconsin Procurement, National Guard Bureau, Department of the Army. - Scope: Range cleaning and decontamination, exhaust and dust-control filter work, collection-drum servicing, VFD cleaning, and hazardous-waste handling and disposal. - Service frequency and term: Range cleaning is estimated twice per year, with possible increases to four or more times per year. The draft scope describes one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years. - Quantities: Replace 60 exhaust pre-filters; 48 exhaust HEPA filters (24 filters sized 24 x 24 x 30 and 24 bag filters); eight DCU cartridge filters (six standard and two HEPA); and clean two exhaust-system VFDs as required. Waste—including range debris, projectiles, filters, DCU dust, disposable PPE, and cleaning liquid—is presumed hazardous unless analysis establishes otherwise; the contractor must package, label, transport, and dispose of it compliantly.
