The Office of Injured Employee Counsel and Texas Department of Insurance seek a two-destination relocation of Lubbock office property. - Government buyer: Office of Injured Employee Counsel (OIEC-448); the property is associated with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), Procurement Office. - Scope: Pack, handle, transport, and move office furniture, equipment, supplies, and miscellaneous items from the current Lubbock field office to a new Lubbock location, and deliver selected items to the State of Texas Surplus facility in Austin. - Lubbock destinations: from 22 Briercroft Office Park, Suite A, to 6104 66th Street, Suite 500. - Austin destination: State of Texas Surplus facility, 6506 Bolm Road. - Moving inventory: The Lubbock relocation includes tables, desks, file cabinets, carts, bookcases, chairs, TVs, office equipment, and approximately 20 boxes of kitchen utensils and miscellaneous supplies. The Austin delivery includes desks, credenzas, a hutch, file cabinets, cubicles, seating, and other selected furnishings; item quantities are listed in the line items. - Contractor requirements: Provide packing and moving materials—including boxes, crates, tape, blankets, labels and labeling materials—as well as vehicles, fuel, and transportation costs. TDI staff will prepack personal belongings in TDI-owned banker boxes and will be present to provide access. - Schedule constraint: Work is limited to the service week specified in the solicitation and daytime hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; alternate dates or hours are not accepted. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or moving vendors are named. No product models or part numbers are specified. - Estimated value: Approximately $25,000.

Description

The vendor will provide comprehensive moving services to relocate office furniture, supplies, equipment, and miscellaneous items from the current Texas Department of Insurance field office in Lubbock to a new Lubbock field office. The vendor will also move selected items from the current Lubbock office to the State of Texas Surplus facility in Austin. The work includes providing packing materials, vehicles, fuel, and related transportation costs, and must take place November 16–20, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The solicitation requests bids by November 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
