The U.S. Air Force is seeking recurring kitchen hood and duct cleaning at Moody Air Force Base and the Grassy Pond annex in Georgia. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force, 23rd Civil Engineer Squadron, 23rd Contracting Squadron (FA4830), Moody AFB; the solicitation identifies Kevin Goris as a point of contact. - Scope: Provide labor, equipment, materials, and related supplies to clean hoods, ducts, vents, fans, louvers, filters, and associated surfaces to bare metal. Cleaning methods include power-jet washing, hand scraping, and hand wiping, consistent with NFPA 96, paragraph 12.6, and the statement of work. - Sites and workload: The statement of work lists 19 hoods across Buildings 210, 571, 583, 621, 901, 904, 956, 1804, 1806, and 2019. Five locations receive quarterly cleaning and seven receive semi-annual cleaning; hood sizes and counts are itemized below. - OEMs and vendors: No cleaning-service OEM or contractor vendor is identified. Ford is named in a contractor cost worksheet for a 2025 Ford Ranger; the worksheet does not indicate that the vehicle is a Government deliverable. Burger King is identified as a service location, not as a cleaning-service vendor. - Contract structure and competition: One 12-month base period with four one-year option periods, plus an option to extend services for up to six months. This is a 100% small-business set-aside, evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria, including technical approach, past performance, and total evaluated price. - Other notable information: Funding is not currently available, and any award is contingent on appropriated funds. A separate question-and-answer attachment references fixed wet-chemical fire-suppression systems and related service CLINs; this appears inconsistent with the hood-cleaning scope, and the attachment provides no Government answers. - Estimated value: No substantive prices are provided in the supplied material; the estimate below is a planning range, not a quoted or Government-published value.
