Ashe Nursery/Extractor Office Floor Replacement and Crawlspace Moisture Control

The USDA Forest Service is seeking floor-system repairs and moisture-control improvements for the Ashe Nursery/Extractor office in Mississippi. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, National Forests in Mississippi; USDA-FS CSA East 11. Work is at the Ashe Nursery/Extractor office in the DeSoto National Forest area of Stone County, Mississippi. - Scope of work: Remove and replace damaged flooring components affected by extensive rot, moisture, and microbial growth. - Replace 756 square feet of subfloor in Office 1, Office 2, the bathroom, hallway, and conference room. - Replace 594 linear feet of floor joists where subfloor is removed. - Prepare and install high-traffic commercial tongue-and-groove planking throughout the office. - Encapsulate the crawlspace with a heavy-duty vapor barrier, seal the vents, and permanently install one dehumidifier to maintain humidity below 60%. - Deep-clean the office after construction so it is ready for USDA staff occupancy. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or contractor vendors are identified; no part numbers are provided. - Performance period: 150 calendar days after notice to proceed.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes only solicitation.  Offers are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12445127B0004 is issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Ashe Nursery Floor Repair/Replacement at Wiggins, MS National Forest Service.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238330   The small business size standard is $19 million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
