DLA Maritime – Puget Sound is seeking three DH-36 steel plates for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, together with material certification documentation. - Government buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime, Puget Sound Contracting Division (DLA-PME); named contact: Deborah Beierle. - Products requested: 3 steel plates, each 1-1/4 in. thick × 96 in. wide × 20 ft. long; MIL-S-22698 Grade DH-36, Class U mill finish (hot rolled or normalized). The solicitation identifies part number 9515-06-202-C002; the material data lists specification MIL-S-22698C. - OEMs and vendors: No commercial OEM or vendor is named. The material is specified by military specification; FSCM 81349 is cited, but no company name is provided. - Required documentation: One Certification Data Report (DI-MISC-82386) for the plate metal, reporting actual chemical and mechanical properties per specification. To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
