The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking field services to prepare wood and slash for habitat construction at the Anthony Creek project. - Buyer: Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW), including the Elkhorn Wildlife Area; coordination with an Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) forester is specified. - Scope: Harvest or collect, transport, sort as needed, and stage materials at six designated project locations. Contractors provide workers and equipment. - Large woody material: Includes 48 selected trees with root balls (18–24-inch DBH, 30–40 feet long), 70 racking trees (4–12-inch DBH, 15–20 feet long; limbs required), and 36 unanchored trees sized to the referenced specifications. ODFW may add up to 5, 7, and 4 trees to those categories, respectively. - Conifer slash: 1,850 cubic yards. Option A is to haul and stage slash from the Pilcher Creek timber sale; the required contingency Option B is to cut, haul, and stage 1,850 cubic yards of designated 0–6-inch DBH conifers within the Elkhorn Wildlife Area if the timber-sale slash is unavailable. - Notable requirements: Bids must account for relevant labor, equipment, handling, transport, mobilization, and fuel. Slash loads must be tracked by staging location. Fieldwork requires advance coordination, and seasonal access restrictions apply. - OEMs/vendors: No product OEMs or contractor vendors are named. Pilcher Creek is identified as a slash source, not a vendor.
