Maintenance and design support for S-723 and S-743 radar systems

NSPA is considering maintenance and design support for the S-723 and S-743 radar systems serving Denmark and Greece. - Government buyer: NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), LD - Communications, Air and Missile Defense Programme. - OEM: BAE Systems Project Services Ltd. The supported systems are MARTELLO 3D RADAR S-743 and MARTELLO S723 3D ADGE. - Estimated annual service quantities: - S-743: 80 Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) cases, 10 Onsite Maintenance Support (OSM) cases, and 5 Post Design Services (PDS) cases. - S-723: 5 DLM cases. - Locations: Radar sites in Moustakos, Pilion, Parnis, and Vitsi in Greece, and Bornholm in Denmark. DLM and PDS may also be performed at contractor facilities. - Notable requirements: DLM quality assurance to AQAP-2131, PDS to AQAP-2110, and GQAR to AQAP-2070. Personnel accessing radar sites must hold or obtain NATO clearances.

Description

NSPA intends to issue an RFP for a new Outline Agreement supporting the S-723 Radar in Denmark and the S-743 Radar Fleet in Greece. The required services are Depot Level Maintenance (DLM), Onsite Maintenance Support (OSM), and Post Design Services (PDS), with estimated yearly quantities listed for each radar. The estimated period of performance is 3 + 2 years, with work at radar sites in Greece and Denmark and DLM/PDS activities at the contractor’s facilities. Contractors must have or obtain NATO clearances for staff accessing the radar sites; the notice is for information only and is not a solicitation or commitment to procure.
