Roche/Ventana immunostainer supplies, software upgrades, and technical support for NIH NCI

The NIH National Cancer Institute is seeking a source for proprietary supplies and related support for its Roche/Ventana immunostaining equipment. - Government buyer: Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Laboratory of Pathology at the Center for Cancer Research; Office of Acquisitions, Office of the Director. - OEM: Roche; the equipment and supplies are also identified as Roche/Ventana. No other vendor is named in the notice or attachment. - Products requested: - Stains, reagents, kits, and supplies for four VMS Benchmark ULTRA immunostainers. Specific part numbers and quantities are not provided. - Software upgrades for the immunostainer equipment, including coverage for current VConnect software. Specific part numbers and quantities are not provided. - Services requested: Access to contractor scientists and engineers for consultation on procedures and instrumentation, plus training for NCI technologists on new software applications by qualified Roche IT specialists. - Notable requirements: Supplies must be proprietary Roche products; generic reagents cannot be used. Reagents must have more than 12 months of shelf life remaining when shipped, and orders must be delivered within five days.
