The Department of the Air Force is seeking commercial Wi-Fi service and expanded wireless coverage for Building 977 at JBSA Randolph. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC); the attachments identify offices AFLCMC/GBH and AFLCMC/GBK. Description

1.  SCOPE OF WORK

The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, materials, and labor necessary to provide commercial Wi-Fi service in Building 977. This includes two primary objectives:

Re-establishing Commercial Wi-Fi Service: Restoring and providing ongoing monthly commercial Wi-Fi internet service throughout the previously serviced areas of Building 977. First-Floor Extension: Engineering, extending, and installing commercial Wi-Fi coverage to the first floor (C and D wings), including circuit testing, troubleshooting, and conducting a post-installation Heat Map to determine optimal wireless access point placement and signal coverage.

All required project documentation, technical layouts, and drawings shall be delivered in accordance with Section 3.9 and applicable Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).

2. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The period of performance shall consist of a base year (12 months) and four (4) one-year optional renewal periods, for a total potential performance period of five (5) years. Continued Wi-Fi service shall be provided on a monthly recurring basis throughout the active period of performance.
