Natomas Charter School’s Technology Services Department is seeking E-rate Category Two network equipment and related installation and support for its Blackrock site and school facilities. - Government buyer: Natomas Charter School, Technology Services Department. - OEMs: Eaton for the UPS equipment and Sophos for the firewall; equivalent products are permitted. - Equipment requested: 10 Eaton 5P1500RN-L UPS units (part number 5P1500RN-L), plus 10 optional RK2PA two-post rail kits (part number RK2PA); and 1 Sophos XGS 4300 firewall with five-year Xstream Protection (part number IG4C5CSUS), or equivalent. - Installation and site scope: Install the 10 UPS units in 10 IDF closets at the main Blackrock site; nearby electrical outlets are available. Dispose of 7 existing UPS units stored in D-1; removal from the closets is not required. - Firewall requirements: Include installation/configuration and five-year manufacturer licensing and support. The XGS 4300 is acceptable, and configuration is to be coordinated with the manufacturer and school. The stated throughput requirement is 30 Gbps with subscriptions and logging enabled, plus SSL decryption and application segmentation. - Other notable requirements: UPS equipment must be new. Description
Natomas Charter School is seeking 10 UPS units for installation in 10 IDF closets at its main Blackrock site. The scope includes disposal of seven old UPS units housed in D-1. The solicitation also seeks a firewall appliance and support, with the attached RFPs providing complete details. The addendum states that appliance and five-year manufacturer licensing/support with installation are acceptable for the firewall portion.
