Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a study of the utilization of its administrative facilities, employees’ current and anticipated work practices, and the space needs of its divisions and departments. The study will address workspace and collaboration assumptions, departmental adjacencies and operational requirements, and overall administrative space requirements. It will also assess potential facility consolidation opportunities and the operational and planning-level cost implications of alternative approaches. The work is intended to provide recommendations and decision points for determining whether and how MCPS should proceed with future planning phases.
