Description
The Department of the Interior gives notice that the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation, has supplemented its petition for federal acknowledgment as an American Indian Tribe and chosen to proceed under the current acknowledgment regulations. The petitioner had previously been proceeding under regulations in effect before July 31, 2015. The Department seeks public comments and evidence on the supplemented petition. Comments and evidence must be postmarked by February 18, 2027.
