NASA is seeking capability statements for a spectropyrometer system supporting high-temperature testing at Marshall Space Flight Center. - Requirement: A Model FMPI SpectroPyrometer System for non-contact thermal diagnostics in material evaluations, propulsion testing, and thermal protection system experiments. - Key performance requirements: Measure 300°C–2,000°C with 0.1°C resolution; provide 250 or more spectral channels across 900–1,700 nm; and support multi-wavelength analysis, emissivity correction, off-gas absorption compensation, environmental compensation, and integrated laser aiming. - Outputs and integration: Continuous or operator-requested measurements, real-time tolerance and signal-strength reporting, 4–20 mA analog output (with 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC options), screen display and non-volatile data logging, and integration with the existing FMPI temperature measurement ecosystem. Typical tolerance is 0.15%. - Included support and delivery: Data analysis is included for the first 30 days after purchase. Delivery is required 18–26 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). - Acquisition approach: NASA/NSSC indicates an intended sole-source acquisition but requests written capability statements to determine whether the requirement should be competed. Quotes are not requested or evaluated. - Quantity and identification: The notice and attachment do not specify a quantity or part number. The sole-source vendor is not identified in the supplied content.
