Wilcox County SCBA Compressor, Cascade Storage, and Fill Station System

Wilcox County is seeking a complete, installed SCBA compressor and fill station system for its Fire Department. - Buyer: Wilcox County Board of Commissioners, Wilcox County, Georgia; end user is the Wilcox County Fire Department. - Named compressor OEMs: Arctic, Bauer, and Mako. The solicitation permits an alternate brand of equal or better quality if supporting product information is provided. - Equipment requested: - One four-stage, air-cooled, oil-lubricated SCBA compressor rated for at least 6,000 PSI and 10 CFM, with required motor, controls, safety shutdowns, condensate drain, gauges, and heavy-duty base. - One Grade E breathing-air purification and monitoring system with replaceable cartridges, automatic moisture separation, continuous carbon-monoxide monitoring, audible and visual alarms, and post-installation air-quality certification. - Four ASME/DOT cascade storage cylinders rated for at least 6,000 PSI, with rack, isolation valves, automatic priority fill panel, individual gauges, and manual override. - One enclosed, two-position fill station rated for 5,500–6,000 PSI, capable of simultaneous filling and filling SCUBA cylinders. It must include a safety interlock, containment chamber, bleed valves, flexible fill whips, and quick-connect fittings compatible with Scott, MSA, and standard SCBA cylinders. - System controls and electrical components, including automatic compressor start/stop, cascade priority control, pressure gauges, digital hour meter, service indicators, and emergency shutdown. - Services: Delivery, installation, startup, coordination with the county electrician, system and leak testing, operational demonstration, air-quality certification, and on-site training in safe operation, cascade operation, routine maintenance, emergency shutdown, and filter replacement. - Notable requirements: Minimum two-year parts-and-labor warranties for the compressor and fill station; the motor is covered by its manufacturer's standard warranty. The bid must identify proposed manufacturers and models, performance and electrical details, warranty, delivery schedule, installed price, and estimated annual maintenance cost. Shipping must be included in unit prices.

Wilcox County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) compressor and fill station for the Wilcox County Fire Department. The vendor must furnish the equipment and provide delivery, installation, startup, testing, air quality certification, and on-site training. The requested system includes a compressor, breathing-air purification and CO monitoring, cascade storage cylinders, and an enclosed fill station, subject to the specifications in the attached RFP.
