Navy solicitation for 18 custom 150,000-pound industrial work horses

NSWCPD is soliciting 18 custom 150,000-pound-capacity industrial work horses for the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center. - Buyer: Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 1460, for the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center. - Products requested: - 12 industrial work horses, 24 inches high by 36 inches wide. - 6 industrial work horses, 36 inches high by 42 inches wide. - Both sizes require a 150,000-pound capacity; no part numbers are provided. - Build and safety requirements: Structural steel welded frame, steel top, spring-loaded compression casters, safety-yellow or equivalent powder-coat finish, and rated-capacity tags and load stickers. Units must be certified to the requested load rating. - Drawings must be submitted for Naval Foundry and Propeller Center approval before manufacturing. PE-stamped drawings and load-rating certification are required. Shipping must be included, with delivery within 90 calendar days of award. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturer, OEM, or vendor is named in the solicitation.

Description

The contractor shall supply twelve (12) 150,000 lbs. (75 ton) industrial work horses and six (6) 150,000 lbs. (75ton) per specifications in Section 3.0. Shipping shall be included with the price. The contractor shall deliver the Industrial Work Horses to NFPC.
