Description

The District of North Vancouver invites proposals from qualified multidisciplinary consultant teams to conduct a service and space needs assessment and options and feasibility study for the renewal or replacement of the Karen Magnussen and Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centres. The study will assess recreation and community services needed in the Lynn Valley and Seymour service areas and whether existing facilities can support them. It will examine potential facility actions, including renewal, upgrades, expansion, replacement, relocation, or consolidation, and the relative priority, timing, affordability, and sequencing of investments. The work will provide an evidence-based foundation for future Council decisions and identify further planning, investigations, business-case development, and approvals needed before any capital project proceeds.
