SCDOT headquarters elevator maintenance and repair

SCDOT is seeking five-year full-service maintenance for four elevators at its Columbia headquarters. - Buyer: South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), Procurement Office. - OEMs and equipment: Thyssenkrupp Aufzugswerke passenger elevators, serial/model numbers 20003132569001, 20003123297001, and 20003095839001; and a Hollister-Whitney freight/service elevator, Model GT31-OH. - Requested service: Preventive maintenance and repair for three passenger elevators and one freight elevator, including covered repairs and parts, required testing and certifications, and emergency callbacks. - Service requirements: 24/7 emergency response, elevators operational by 7:00 AM, and at least two passenger elevators kept in service. - Contract structure: Five years, beginning with a one-year term and annual renewals. A performance security equal to the contract face amount is required. - Estimated labor quantities over the full contract: 80 regular mechanic hours, 80 regular mechanic-and-helper hours, 50 overtime mechanic hours, 50 overtime mechanic-and-helper hours, 50 weekend/holiday mechanic hours, and 50 weekend/holiday mechanic-and-helper hours.
