Vigo County School Corporation is seeking a district-wide wireless network refresh centered on Cisco Wi-Fi 7 access points, switches, related hardware, and five-year software and licensing. - Government buyer: Vigo County School Corporation. - OEM: Cisco Systems; Cisco or equivalent equipment is acceptable. - Main equipment: 594 Cisco CW9174I-CFG wireless access points and 83 Cisco C9350-48HX switches, plus switch modules, power supplies, stacking and console cables, and optical transceivers. - Software and licensing: Five-year access-point software/support for 594 units, wireless DNA licensing for 772 units, and switch feature and software licenses for 83 switches. - Installation: Turnkey removal of existing access points and installation, mounting, configuration/adoption, testing, labeling, and asset documentation for 594 new access points at district sites. Vigo County School Corporation staff will install the switches. - Notable requirements: Equipment must work with existing infrastructure; proposals should address E-Rate eligibility. The project is expected to be completed within the stated 2027 project window.

Description

Vigo County School Corporation is seeking proposals for network hardware, five-year software and licensing, and installation of new wireless access points under FCC Form 470 270002084. Requested items include approximately 83 switches and related components, 594 access points with installation, and 772 licenses for existing access points. The attached RFP describes the detailed equipment and service requirements, including installation of access points across district sites and completion of the project by July 30, 2027. Proposals are due by email to Kathy Lady by December 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.
