DLA Maritime – Puget Sound is seeking 50 flexible ventilation ducts for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime – Puget Sound, Contracting Division (DLA-PME); the requirement supports the U.S. Navy and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Product: 50 flexible ducts, 12-inch inside diameter by 25 feet long, black, with a green bonded wear strip, two-ply polyester/neoprene construction, and a spring-steel wire helix. - Solicitation part number: 111012000677. Related attachment document number: 6287-7909; NSN: LLS052865. - The attachment also specifies no cuffs, an operating-temperature range of -40 to 250°F, palletization, and white “FIRE RESISTANT PROPERTY OF US NAVY” markings at multiple locations along the duct. - Named acceptable OEM products: Flexaust CWC-W and Hi-Tech Duravent 2PN. To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
