The California Department of Water Resources’ Delta Field Division is seeking a contractor for hazardous-waste services across four sites and other locations as requested. - Government buyer: State of California, California Natural Resources Agency, Department of Water Resources (DWR), Delta Field Division; Sacramento, California. - OEMs and named vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or vendors are named in the solicitation materials. - Requested services: Hazardous-waste handling, pickup, transport, treatment, recycling, disposal, storage, waste profiling, sampling and analysis, manifests and tracking records, and emergency and non-emergency cleanup. Potential work includes excavation, asbestos and lead removal, tank cleaning, Freon recovery, duct cleaning, and oil removal from lakes, reservoirs, and aqueducts. No amount of work is guaranteed. - Bid-sheet pricing: Rates are requested for a broad range of waste types by container size, pound, gallon, item, pallet, and drum; for equipment, covered roll-off-bin rental, and personnel. Rates are requested for each of the three agreement years; no quantities or product part numbers are specified. - Notable requirements: At least 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation; required hazardous-waste permits and licenses and qualified, trained personnel; emergency response within four hours of DWR’s request and test results within six hours; compliance with applicable hazardous-waste regulations.
