The General Services Administration is seeking public comments on an information collection about supply-chain restrictions in certain acquisitions. - Government buyer: General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Chief Acquisition Officer. - Opportunity status: Request for public comments on an information collection; this is not a solicitation or award. - Scope: Representations and disclosures concerning Section 889 restrictions on certain telecommunications and video-surveillance equipment or services, and exclusion or removal orders under the Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act. - Covered requirements: FAR 52.204-24, 52.204-25, 52.204-29, and 52.204-30, as applied to lease acquisitions and commercial solution openings. - Estimated annual response burden: 4,650 hours for FAR 52.204-24; 93 hours for FAR 52.204-25; 372 hours for FAR 52.204-29; and 248 hours for FAR 52.204-30. Burden associated with commercial solution openings is considered negligible and excluded from the estimate. - Changes and notable requirement: The extension updates wage rates but otherwise leaves the information collection unchanged while GSA awaits assessment and revision following its regulation-overhaul rulemaking. - OEMs, vendors, products, and quantities: None identified.

Description

The General Services Administration is extending the previously approved information collection for OMB Control No. 3090-0322, concerning prohibitions on certain supply chain services or equipment under lease acquisitions and commercial solution openings. The extension makes no changes except for updated wage rates, pending assessment and revision following completion of the Revolutionary GSA Regulation Overhaul rulemaking. The collection supports implementation of Section 889 and Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act orders. GSA will consider comments received by December 18, 2026.
