Illinois is seeking a provider to deliver statewide education, training, and outreach for its Medical Cannabis Program. - Government buyer: Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Health Promotion Department, Medical Cannabis Program; serving audiences statewide. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, product brands, or vendors are named in the opportunity. - Services requested: - Assess education needs and knowledge gaps, then develop standardized curricula and accessible materials aligned with Illinois program requirements and administrative rules. - Deliver at least 12 healthcare-provider training activities, with at least 15 attendees per session. - Deliver at least 12 activities for patients, caregivers, and the public, with at least 25 attendees per session. - Train all participating Local Health Departments (currently eight); the number may change during the contract. - Conduct outreach and stakeholder engagement, and report on attendance, feedback, and effectiveness. - Important requirements: - Training must cover the Medical Cannabis Patient Registry System, prevailing community standards of care for medical cannabis, and applicable program requirements. - Activities may be virtual, in person, or hybrid. Materials must be accessible, suit varied audiences, follow Department-approved branding, and receive IDPH approval before use. - The contractor must adapt materials and delivery as program rules and participating Local Health Departments change. IDPH retains ownership of developed materials. - Activity reports, attendance, and evaluation reports are generally due within seven days after an activity; outreach distribution reporting is also required. - Products and part numbers: No physical products, product quantities, or part numbers are specified. - Period of performance: An initial 18-month term, with up to three one-year renewals; the total term, including extensions, may not exceed ten years.

Description

The Illinois Department of Public Health seeks an offeror to provide education, training, and outreach services for the Medical Cannabis Program. Work includes assessing educational needs, developing standardized curricula and materials, delivering training, and conducting outreach for health care providers, patients, caregivers, Local Health Departments, and the public. The initial contract term is 18 months, with up to three additional one-year renewal terms. Services include reporting and continuous improvement, and training may be delivered virtually, in person, or in hybrid formats.
