Carroll County is seeking qualified providers for on-call heavy-duty snow removal services through its Division of Roads Operations. - Government buyer: Carroll County Commissioners, Carroll County Division of Roads Operations, Maryland. - Service requested: On-call snow removal using a truck and operator. - Provide a 10- or 15-ton dump truck, or a higher-tonnage truck where applicable. - Equip each truck with a snowplow, salt spreader, and two sets of tire chains. - Vehicle requirements: Trucks must be tagged and registered for their intended use; Farm Tags are not permitted for plowing. - Rates: The County will set hourly rates by vehicle classification in Attachment A. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, vehicle makes, or individual vendors are named.

Description

The County Commissioners of Carroll County are inviting qualified individuals and contractors to submit qualifications for on-call snow removal services. Awarded contractors will provide the Carroll County Division of Roads Operations with ten- and fifteen-ton trucks, or higher-tonnage trucks if applicable. Trucks must be dump trucks equipped with a snowplow, salt spreader, two sets of tire chains, and an operator; vehicles must be tagged and registered for their intended use, and Farm Tags are not permitted for plowing operations. The County will set hourly rates for each vehicle classification outlined in Attachment A.
