Miami-Dade County is hosting a hybrid workshop to help firms understand County small-business, wage, and workforce requirements. - Purpose: Training for firms new to the requirements or seeking a refresher; this is an event, not a procurement opportunity. - Topics covered: Small Business Enterprise – Construction Program (§10-33.02); Responsible Wages and Benefits Program (§2-11.16); Community Workforce Program (§2-1701); Residents First Training and Employment Program (§2-11.17); and Employ Miami-Dade Program (§2-10.4). - Attendance: Limited to 35 participants; RSVP is required. - Format and location: Attend in person in Miami or join through Microsoft Teams. - Procurement details: No products, services for purchase, OEMs, vendors, contract value, or performance period are identified.

Description

This hybrid training workshop is for firms learning or refreshing their understanding of Miami-Dade County Code requirements related to the Small Business Enterprise Programs. It covers the Small Business Enterprise – Construction Program, Responsible Wages and Benefits Program, Community Workforce Program, Residents First Training and Employment Program, and Employ Miami-Dade Program. The event is scheduled for May 13, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern, with in-person and Microsoft Teams attendance options.
