The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will hold a webinar meeting of its Citizen Science Projects Advisory Panel on November 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The meeting will cover program and project updates, potential growth and expansion of the Citizen Science Program, community building, program indicators, and other business. The meeting is open to the public, with webinar registration required and an opportunity for public comment at the beginning. The notice also describes the panel’s role in identifying citizen science research and data needs and developing volunteer engagement strategies.
