DIU and DRPM UxS are seeking integrated maritime counter-air systems for the SWAP-USV Sprint 2 prize challenge. - Government buyers: Department of War Innovation Unit (DIU), in partnership with the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Unmanned Systems (DRPM UxS). - OEMs and vendors: No commercial OEMs, vendors, or resellers are identified by company name in the notice. Named effector products include AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire, AGM-179 Joint Air-Ground Missile (JAGM), Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS), and Stinger missiles. - Requested integrated solution: A production-ready unmanned surface vessel (USV), launcher and counter-air effector, resilient sensors, and interoperable command-and-control (C2). Standalone platforms or effectors do not meet the stated integration objective. - USV requirements: At least 200 nautical miles of operational range and a sustained speed of at least 10 knots. - Sensor and C2 requirements: Clutter-resilient sensing with 360-degree detection, tracking, and positive identification of airborne and surface threats; modular, MOSA-compliant C2 integrated with Project AVO for maneuvering, tactical cueing, sensor-data sharing, and supervised remote weapon use. - Effector options: AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire, AGM-179 JAGM, APKWS, Stinger or better missiles, stabilized machine guns of 7.62 caliber or greater, high-power lasers, or other mature kinetic effectors. APKWS proposals must include launcher integration and support two-person manual reloading. - Notable readiness requirements: Solutions must be mature and production-ready, provide hard-kill defense against airborne threats, and be ready for an integrated-system demonstration within 30 days of down-selection. The capability is intended to support forward fielding within 120 days. - Challenge value: Sprint 2 prizes total up to $40 million; follow-on prototype or production opportunities may be possible. - Quantities: No item quantities are specified.
