Essex Fells Elementary School Wi-Fi 6E Network Upgrade

Essex Fells Elementary School is seeking an E-Rate Category 2 upgrade to its campus Wi-Fi network, including Wi-Fi 6E equipment and deployment services. - Government buyer: Essex Fells Elementary School, Essex Fells, New Jersey; the RFP identifies the Technology Coordinator as the point of contact. - OEM: HPE Aruba (also referred to as Aruba) is the specified benchmark manufacturer; equivalent or superior products from other manufacturers are acceptable. - Equipment requested: - 28 HPE Aruba AP-615-US Wi-Fi 6E access points, part number R7J50A, with dual-radio, tri-band 2x2 capability, multi-gigabit support, and internal antennas. - 1 HPE Aruba 9004 Gateway/controller, part number R1B20A, supporting up to 32 access points and 2,000 clients. - 1 19-inch gateway rack-mount kit, part number R1B30A. - 1 AC power cord, part number JW124A. - 28 ceiling/wall access-point mounting kits, part number R3J18A. - Necessary software and licenses for the 28 access points and 1 controller. - Support and services: 1 year of gateway hardware support with four-hour hardware exchange (HN5K7E/PAVTAC); physical mounting and connection of 28 access points; and turnkey staging, controller configuration, access-point provisioning, network integration, RF coverage checks and tuning, testing, and as-built documentation. - Notable requirements: Equipment must be new, factory-sealed, current-generation, and covered by manufacturer warranties. Network setup includes routing, VLANs, security, guest access, and RADIUS/WPA3 enterprise authentication. The requested work also includes configuration backups, location maps, IP address tables, and warranty certificates.

Description

Essex Fells Elementary School is soliciting proposals for Category 2 internal connections and basic maintenance to upgrade its campus wireless network. The project includes approximately 28 Wi-Fi 6E access points, one wireless gateway/controller supporting up to 32 access points and 2,000 clients, mounting hardware, one-year support or warranty, and professional installation, configuration, testing, and deployment. HPE Aruba models are benchmarks; equivalent or superior products from any manufacturer are permitted. Vendors must meet the stated E-Rate requirements and submit itemized pricing separating eligible and ineligible costs.
