Ford F-350 Equipment and Installation: Winch, Service Body, Hitch, and Accessories

GSA Fleet seeks installation of equipment on one Ford F-350 for its fleet maintenance needs. - Government buyer: General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Fleet Maintenance Control Center, Fort Worth, on behalf of GSA Fleet; contact named: William Hofmann. - OEMs and named examples: Warn 12K winch; Reading service body, model TPA60-98SW; Knapheide service body, model KUVCC; and C-Tech drawer system. Equivalent products are allowed where specified. - Requested products (one each; quantities are inferred from singular requirements): - Warn 12K winch with wire rope, mounted in front of the bumper; no part number specified. - Cab-length running boards; no part number specified. - Enclosed steel utility/service body, 8 or 9 feet long and no more than 100 inches high; Reading TPA60-98SW or Knapheide KUVCC, or equivalent. - C-Tech-style drawer system, or equivalent, for the service body; no part number specified. - Class 5 receiver hitch rated for at least 18,000 pounds. - Trailer electrical plug wired to SAE J2863. - Backup camera with a centrally located, protected rear-view camera mount. - Service body requirements: Barn-style double doors with windows and security screens, tapered sides, upper side compartments, specified adjustable shelving and dividers, lighting in compartments and utility boxes, central locking, and an in-floor tie-down. The installed body must provide at least 22 inches of ground clearance. - Installation and vendor requirements: Install the components on the Ford F-350 and complete repairs to industry standards. Products must have standard manufacturer warranties. The vendor must meet applicable EPA and OSHA requirements, maintain required safety documents on site, carry insurance, hold required business licenses, and comply with applicable local wage requirements. - Location and schedule: The repair facility must be within 75 miles of the vehicle’s location in Loveland, Colorado. Work must be completed within 120 days after receipt of the order; an estimated delivery schedule is required.

Description

This requirement is for the installation of necessary components on a 2026 FORD F-350 (Tag number G61D0359 , VIN# 1FD8W3FT7TEE20765). All equipment must be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. All items shall include standard warranty. Repairs will be completed in accordance with industry standards. Vendors shall be following all EPA and OSHA standards and requirements. SDS and any other required documents must be on site. Vendors must be properly insured to cover any losses for GSA vehicles that are in their shop. Valid business license(s) is required in accordance with state and local guidelines. All employees of selected vendor must be paid in accordance with local Department of Labor established wages.
