The City of Bellingham is seeking proposals from attorneys and firms to provide counsel to indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor crimes. The City will compile a pool of Conflict Public Defenders to provide legal defense services when the Public Defender and Primary Conflict Public Defender have a conflict. Interested attorneys or firms should have criminal court experience.
