Oregon contractor registration and prevailing-wage compliance are required, and the Owner must approve the final construction schedule before work begins. - Bid alternates: Separately price labor and materials for replacing normal power panel MCB-N2P3B3 and transformer MCBNT3B3 in room 305; replacing emergency panel MCB-E4P4B3 and normal power panel MCB-N4P4B2 in room 404A; and capping and labeling refrigerant piping abandoned at the shaft. A flooring deductive alternate substitutes carpet for 135 square feet of hallway wood flooring and resilient plank for 465 square feet of kitchen flooring. - Named companies: Hilti is identified as the manufacturer of the structural anchor referenced in the calculations; NBZ Consulting Engineers prepared the structural calculations. No general contractor or reseller is named. The removed PSU Tech Design Standards attachment is not part of the current attachment set.

Portland State University is seeking a general contractor to remodel and build out approximately 13,335 square feet on the fourth floor of the Richard & Maurine Neuberger Center for relocation of its Speech and Hearing Sciences department. The work will convert open-office layouts into enclosed administrative, academic, research, and clinical spaces, including offices, labs, classrooms, reception and waiting areas, restrooms, student study space, and support areas. High-performance acoustic isolation and sound-attenuation assemblies are required throughout. Attendance at the in-person site walk on October 22, 2026 is mandatory for proposers to be eligible to submit; proposals are due November 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time.
