The Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity is seeking professional American Sign Language interpreting services for unclassified and classified activities. - Government buyer: Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA), under Marine Corps Installations Command and MCINCR. - Service requested: Professional ASL interpreting to support two-way communication between a deaf or hard-of-hearing employee and hearing participants. - Interpret spoken English into ASL and convey the employee’s signed and written communications to people who do not use ASL. - Support may include both unclassified and classified activities. - Notable requirements: Contractors and assigned personnel must meet applicable facility security clearance, eligibility, and access requirements for classified work. Description

Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity MCOTEA requires professional American Sign Language ASL interpreting services to facilitate effective two way communication between a deaf or hard of hearing employee and hearing participants. The contractor shall provide qualified interpreters capable of interpreting spoken English into ASL and conveying the supported employees signed and written communications to non ASL literate audiences.The requirement includes support for unclassified and classified activities. Offerors shall meet all contract security requirements, including possession of the required facility security clearance FCL and ensuring personnel assigned to classified work maintain the required eligibility and access.
