Gravel Hauling and Placement for the Rural Municipality of Perdue No. 346

The Rural Municipality of Perdue No. 346 is seeking a contractor to haul and place road gravel for municipal road work. - Government buyer: Rural Municipality of Perdue No. 346. - Service requested: Haul and place 15,000 cubic yards of gravel from the R.M. of Glenside No. 377 gravel pit to Perdue’s gravel pile site, approximately 36 miles away. - 14,000 cubic yards of 7/8-inch gravel. - 1,000 cubic yards of 2-inch gravel. - Contractor scope: Provide project management and all labor and equipment for loading, hauling, and placement; provide on-site construction supervision; and submit a gravel measurement method. - Important requirements: Submit per-cubic-yard pricing that includes fuel, labor, and surcharges, with taxes shown separately; provide an equipment listing; review the route with a Council member before hauling; follow applicable road maintenance agreements and provincial regulations; and provide at least $2 million in liability insurance and workers’ compensation clearance. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or commercial vendors are named.

Description

The Rural Municipality of Perdue No. 346 is seeking proposals for hauling 15,000 cubic yards of road gravel: 14,000 cubic yards of 7/8-inch gravel and 1,000 cubic yards of 2-inch gravel. The gravel will be hauled approximately 36 miles from the R.M. gravel pit in the R.M. of Glenside No. 377 to the RM of Perdue No. 346 gravel pile site. The work includes project management, labor and equipment for loading, hauling, and placing the gravel, on-site supervision, and submission of a gravel measurement method. Proposals are due November 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM CST.
