Description
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is requesting an extension from the Office of Management and Budget for the information collection titled “Consumer Response Company Response Survey,” approved under OMB Control Number 3170-0069. The optional survey collects consumer feedback on companies’ responses to and handling of complaints through three questions and supporting narrative responses. The CFPB shares feedback with the company involved and uses it among other inputs to assess the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of company responses to consumer complaints. Comments are requested on the necessity and utility of the collection, estimated respondent burden, ways to improve the information, and ways to reduce the burden.
