The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center’s Advanced Science Research Center is seeking an integrated high-power femtosecond laser and two automated optical parametric amplifiers (OPAs). - Government buyer: City University of New York (CUNY), CUNY Graduate Center, Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC), New York. - OEMs and vendors: No equipment manufacturer, OEM, reseller, or bidder is named in the available materials. - Requested equipment: One Yb-based femtosecond pump laser, two automated high-energy OPAs, and one closed-loop chiller. No part numbers are provided. - The laser must deliver at least 80 W at 1030 nm, with pulse energy of at least 2 mJ at repetition rates up to 40 kHz and pulse durations below 350 fs; it must support tunable repetition rates and automated pulse control. - Both OPAs must run simultaneously from the pump laser. OPA 1 must tune its signal from at least 630–1030 nm and its idler from 1030–2600 nm. OPA 2 must meet OPA 1 requirements and add UV, visible, and mid-infrared output extensions spanning the specified ranges. - The chiller may be air- or water-cooled, selected at order. - Delivery and support: One vendor must supply the integrated system, include shipping, assemble and test it before shipment, install and verify it on site, and train operators. Delivery is expected about six months after receipt of order. A minimum one-year parts-and-labor warranty must cover on-site service labor and travel; U.S.-based sales and service support is required. - Other notable requirements: The bid must include system footprint and output-port drawings and measured or representative tuning curves for every OPA output range. Equivalent offerings must document compliance with each requirement. - Term: The solicitation notice states a one-year contract term; the attached specifications separately require a minimum one-year equipment warranty.
