Canton City School District is seeking leased, managed WAN connectivity for Lincoln Elementary and its district network head-end. - Government buyer: Canton City School District, also identified as Canton City Schools and its Board of Education. The technology contact is the Executive Director of Technology and Public Information. - Service requested: Two standalone WAN connections, with separate pricing options of 1, 2, and 5 Gbps per endpoint and the ability to change service tiers during the contract. The connection serves Lincoln Elementary (formerly Souers Middle School) and the head-end at the Administrative Center, McKinley Downtown, and Tech Annex. - OEMs and vendors: No OEM, manufacturer, reseller, or prospective service-provider vendor is named in the materials. - Technical requirements: Fully managed leased lit capacity; installation and initial configuration; demarcation in a district-designated network closet; and fiber handoffs are requested. Each link must use an active, powered standalone network device at both ends. Fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, microwave, or other transmission technologies may be proposed if they meet the requirements. - Service levels: Address 99.99% availability, packet loss, latency (less than 25 ms expected), jitter, contention and oversubscription, 24/7/365 reporting, and service reporting. Include a two-hour diagnosis commitment and a four-hour temporary or permanent repair commitment. - Pricing and funding: Separate recurring and nonrecurring charges, fees, and eligible versus ineligible services. Fixed monthly charges without separate upfront installation or construction costs are preferred. The district requires E-Rate SPI invoicing, and the procurement is contingent on E-Rate funding.
