The Regional District of Central Kootenay is seeking quotes for services to pump collected leachate from the Creston Landfill composting facility’s lined catchment pond using a vacuum truck and transport it to the Town of Creston Wastewater Treatment Plant for disposal. The services will be provided on an as-needed basis under a two-year contract, with an option for up to three one-year extensions. There is no commitment to the number of service requests or volumes in any year, and the procurement may result in one or more contracts.
