Texas Facilities Commission purchase of one outdoor-use 10,000-lb. forklift

The Texas Facilities Commission is seeking one outdoor-use, 10,000-pound-class diesel forklift for delivery to State Surplus Property in Austin. - Government buyer: Texas Facilities Commission (TFC); delivery location is State Surplus Property, Austin, Texas. - Primary equipment: One new, current-production sit-down, counterbalanced forklift for outdoor industrial material handling. - Minimum 10,000-lb. rated capacity at a 24-inch load center; at least 171-inch lift height; triplex mast; and 96-inch forks. - Maximum dimensions: 96 inches wide, 220 inches long, and 96 inches high with the mast lowered. - Required features include diesel power, hydraulic side shift and fork positioning, a minimum two-speed powershift or equivalent transmission with inching capability, dual front drive tires, and an open operator station with overhead weather protection. - Safety and work features include an operator-presence system, anti-rollaway parking-brake protection, LED work lights, backup alarm, mirrors, and a mounted fire extinguisher. - OEMs named: Caterpillar, Hyster, Mitsubishi, Taylor, and Toyota are identified as examples of acceptable manufacturers; approved equivalents are allowed. No specific make, model, or part number is designated. - Optional accessories: Price separately any requested options, including safety lighting, additional cab or load guards, load scale, camera, passenger/trainer seat, telematics, fleet management, toolbox or lockable storage, and operator cooling fan. - Warranty and repair: Provide standard factory warranty details and separately priced extended-warranty options. Warranty and repair support must be available through an authorized service center offering mobile repairs within 50 miles of Austin. - Estimated value: $90,000.
