NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia is seeking repair of one Government-owned electric warming oven. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS), Philadelphia; contact listed as Sarah Mariano. - Requested item and service: - One electric warming oven, part number 4313100-00-6600, NSN 7310-17-125-1500. - Repair and/or modification, including inspection, testing, labor, materials, and parts needed to return the oven to operational condition. - OEM: Boeing is identified as the intended sole source; the Government says it lacks the data needed to perform the repair or manufacture the item. - Key requirements: 90-day repair turnaround after receipt of the asset; Government inspection and acceptance; packaging suitable for overseas shipment. A reusable shipping and storage container is required when an applicable container NSN is assigned. Early and incremental deliveries are preferred. - Other sources may submit proposals and capability information, but new sources must provide source-approval information. Award will not be delayed while approval is pending.

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document.
The Government intends to solicit only one source (Boeing) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items.
All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to the notice.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
However, all proposals received within 5 days after the publication of this solicitation notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending.
The time for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
