North East Independent School District is seeking a full-service vending provider for snacks and selected food items at district locations. - Government buyer: North East Independent School District (NEISD), Procurement & eCommerce, San Antonio, Texas. - Opportunity: District-wide snack vending service, including food vending at two facilities that host large numbers of meetings. - Requested equipment: Vendor-provided new or reconditioned, energy-efficient snack vending machines for schools and satellite facilities; food vending machines for two meeting-heavy facilities. No quantities, models, brands, or part numbers are specified. - Food and nutrition: Submit proposed snack lists and nutrition labels for NEISD approval. School snacks must meet applicable USDA nutrition standards. Suggested food-vending items include sandwiches, soups, microwaveable foods, burritos, and Hot Pockets, subject to approval. - Equipment features: Machines must include dollar-bill changers and credit/debit card readers; student-accessible machines need timers or lockouts where required. - Service requirements: Supply, install, stock, operate, clean, maintain, repair, refill, and remove machines. Respond to service calls within 24 hours; provide monthly machine- and location-level activity reports and pay commissions monthly. - Commercial requirements: Snack prices must remain firm for the first school year; price changes require district approval.
