Roswell Park is seeking temporary staffing services through separate managed-service and direct-agency procurements. - Buyer: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (also identified as Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corp.), Supply Chain Management. - OEMs and vendors: No staffing OEMs or proposed staffing vendors are named. Vizient is mentioned only in a question about possible group-purchasing participation, not as a supplier. - Staffing categories and estimated annual volumes: - Locum tenens and allied health: approximately 6 FTEs, including physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, physical therapists, and technicians. - Non-clinical and professional staffing: approximately 40 FTEs, including administrative, IT, finance, supply chain, and clinical-support roles. - Executive and faculty interim placement and search: approximately 3 FTEs, covering physician and physician-leader, executive, academic, and research faculty placements. - Procurements: RFP 27-07 is for an enterprise-wide managed service provider (MSP); RFP 27-08 is a separate direct-award opportunity for temporary staffing agencies. Vendors may propose for selected categories or positions. Roswell Park may make single, multiple, partial, or no awards. - MSP responsibilities: Coordinate staffing suppliers and requisitions; support candidate tracking, reporting, rate benchmarking, spend controls and analytics, credentialing and onboarding; and provide or support staffing technology. The MSP procurement has no guaranteed staffing volume. Direct-award agencies contract with and invoice Roswell Park; MSP-participating agencies contract and receive payment through the MSP. - Notable requirements: Background and drug screening, credential verification and role-specific clearances may be required. Offshore resources are not anticipated for work involving protected health information, confidential or candidate/employee data, or Roswell Park systems; AI use must be disclosed. Work may be onsite, hybrid, or remote. No internal-system integration is currently required, and vendors should provide timekeeping capability as applicable. - Historical spend context: Approximately $32.1 million over about 6–7 years; this is informational only and does not guarantee funding, requisitions, or volume.
