USDA Fresno Office Furniture Purchase, Delivery, and Assembly

USDA is seeking quotes for furniture and on-site delivery and assembly for its Fresno, California office. - Government buyer: The notice identifies the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), MRPBS Minneapolis; the attachment identifies USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), West Region Branch, Fresno office. - OEMs and vendors: No furniture manufacturers, OEMs, or commercial vendors are named, and no brand-specific products or part numbers are specified. - Furniture requested (32 items total): 1 mobile room divider; 1 storage cabinet; 1 conference table; 8 ergonomic office chairs; 1 credenza reception desk; 2 left-hand and 3 right-hand height-adjustable L-shaped desks; 4 bookcases with doors; 4 five-tier bookcases; and 7 two-drawer file cabinets. - Key specifications: Chairs must be swivel/ergonomic and support at least 275 lb. Desks must adjust from 30 inches to at least 45 inches. Other minimum dimensions and features include a 72-by-76-inch room divider, a 95-by-48-inch conference table, lockable reception-desk drawers, adjustable bookcase shelves, and file cabinets that hold letter- and legal-size hanging files. Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12639527Q0007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for New Office Furniture The office is requesting the purchase of new furniture to replace broken and old furniture.

The awarded Contractor shall provide furniture as outlined in this SOW. Location of work to be performed will be the 2202 Monterey Street, Suite 102B, Fresno, California 93721. The total space footage is approximately 1,305.69 sf. Space identified includes four offices, conference room, and reception/flex room/printing room. Contractor is responsible for delivery and assembly only of items specified in Attachment 2. Removal and disposal of existing furniture will be performed by building staff and is not part of the Contractor’s responsibilities. This request is strictly for furniture. There is no electrical work, IT installation, or telecommunications installation involved.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 337214 Office Furniture (Except Wood) Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,100 Employees This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
